Thankyou all for coming out for a successful open blind draw doubles tournament. we had a few of the men show up, and it was alot of fun! We ended up with 39 players. We had the chase the ace board, for $135.00 each to the winner and the league won by Stephanie Martin, and the share the wealth was $115.00 also won by Stephanie Martin, lucky day! Congratulations Stephanie . We had one player play by themselves because of the odd number, and it was my hubby Rob McCrae who stole the show with 1st place win of $90.00 which he so kindly donated back to the league!! 2nd place winners, were myself and Karen Pratt for $55.00, 3rd place was Kathy Holt and Dillon Beatt for $25.00, and 4th place was Tiffany Gill and Jeff Sheffield, also for $25.00. We also had a $10.00 donation from Lisa Comeau Stanton because she wasn’t able to play, and also a $5.00 donation from Lisa Clipperton. Thankyou! We were done by 11pm, so it wasn’t a very late night for everyone. Thanks executive for such a smooth run tournament. Next week is our Open teams tournament, since we won’t need to use our spare night. This is a BRING YOUR OWN mixed teams ladies! You bring or play with 2 men and 2 women! IF you don’t have 2 other men, and another woman to play with, please still come out! If need be, we will make a team of 4 with ladies that don’t have anyone to play with, even if it is a team of 4 ladies, but only if we need to make up a team. We will be having our share the wealth, possibly basket draws, and maybe another chase the ace, as it did very well. We will also be having our bake sale, So if anyone feels like baking, and donating it, please feel free to bring in some goodies, and all of the money will be donated back to the league to help with banquet costs. Banquet ticket sales are now closed. Our last day for Intent to run forms, Vicky Parry Award nominations, and Amendments is April 9th, so please get these in before then, to prepare for the AGM.
