|It is with great sadness on September 21st 2019, that one of our recent dart ladies of
almost 40 years with the London Ladies Dart League, has suddenly passed away. Donna
Diggs was a great friend to many, a member of Steven's Darts team, and was also a
long time member of the Ladies Auxiliary. She was vacationing in Nova Scotia visiting with
her family when she became ill. Arrangements are being made to have her brought back
to London, and as soon as we have any more information, we will pass it along to
everyone. You will be missed by many Donna, our thoughts and prayers are with all of
her friends, the Steven's Dart team, and her family.
|Our condolences goes out to Sandra Couture of Wired Up for the loss of her husband Edward
Stevens on November the 10th, 2019 after a long and courageous battle. There will be a
celebration of life on December the 8th @ the Lambeth Legion between 2pm and 5pm, and all
donations are going to the Cancer Society in Edward's name. We are truly saddened Sandra,
he was known by quite a few ladies in our league, and was a very caring and kind man. We
hope you find peace, in this very difficult time, and just know that all of your dart family is here
for you if you need anything!
|It was with great pleasure, that Tammy Lonsbary and myself went to these organizations, and
donated the money that we raised. There was so much joy and appreciation! It sure warmed
my heart, to know that each and everyone one of us is making a difference in the lives of the
women fighting these horrible diseases, and that we are helping the women who left us carry
on to help in the fight to find a cure. From all of us in the executive, we thank each and every
one of you that helped in making this possible! Next year we are looking to organize a LLDL
group to walk in honour of the ladies in our league, who lost their lives. We hope you will join
us in this fight for a cure!!!
